Driver Arrested Following Hit-And-Run In Bethany

One person is in custody following a hit-and-run crash in Bethany, early Friday morning.

It happened about 1:30 a.m. Police said an SUV and a pickup truck crashed head-on near N.W. 50th and Rockwell.

The truck stopped, but the SUV sped off following the collision, according to police.

Officers later found the SUV, but the driver tried to run away. That person was taken into custody a short time later.

No one was injured. Police have not identified the SUV driver at this time.
