It's been a violent morning across the metro as police responded to several robberies.

At about 1:30 a.m., officers rushed to the scene of an armed robbery at the Circle K on N.W. 63rd and May Avenue. The clerk said a man robbed the store with an ice pick.

The suspect got away with $34 in cash.

According to police, 20 minutes later, three men robbed the Willy's Donuts on S. May near 59th. They jumped the counter and punched an employee in the face.

Police say the suspects grabbed the cash register and a money bag, and took off in a silver, 4-door car.

Police are also still searching for the suspects Friday morning.
