Sunshine and above normal temperatures have taken over Tuesday. Tuesday night our attention will be focused more out in the panhandle and far western Oklahoma where we have the possibility of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with wind and hail being the threats. The metro will stay quiet with mostly clear skies and overnight lows in the upper 60's.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected on Wednesday with highs reach around 90 degrees. There will be a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms in the metro and for most of central Oklahoma during the day. Threats still look to be wind and hail with any strong storm that develops.
Our cold front won't move through until Thursday. The metro does have a better chance of showers and thunderstorms early Thursday morning but risk for severe weather is low. Temperatures temporarily cool off through the first half of the weekend.
