Feeling a little warm today? We are looking at near record highs on Tuesday. A boundary will lift to our north as a warm front helping temperatures to warm into the low 90s.
If we were to hit 94 degrees that would tie the old record set back in 1979. There will be little in the way of clouds to stop temperatures from climbing. Monday night though, under mostly clear skies, we will drop to the low 60s.
The front lifting to our north on Tuesday will stall out for a few days there.
The remnants from Hurricane Simon will interact with that boundary bringing the possibility of heavy rain to the area by the end of the week. Showers should start developing late Thursday night and into Friday. These showers will help to cool us down into the upper 60s by Friday.
