Unseasonably warm temperatures overspread Oklahoma Tuesday bringing near record temperatures. Wednesday won't be as impressive, but still warmer than usual. Skies remain mostly clear Tuesday night and with the help of a south wind our overnight lows only drop to the mid 60's.
Fair skies are expected on Wednesday with highs in the upper 80's. In fact, we see very little change through Thursday, so get used to the heat!
Finally, as we get into the weekend, storm chances increase. At this point in the game, Friday looks like a washout, so you may want to make some alternative indoor plans. Moisture from what was Hurricane Simon will interact with a cold front on top of us, bringing solid chances for rain across the state.
Temperatures will cool into the upper 70's on Friday.
