FBI Seeks Suspect Who Robbed OKC Bank At Gunpoint

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking for a suspect who robbed an Oklahoma City bank at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking for a suspect who robbed an Oklahoma City bank at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

According to the FBI, at about 11:50 a.m. a male suspect walked into the IBC Bank, located at 4802 N. Western, carrying a black revolver.

Agents said the suspect handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied with the demand, and the suspect placed an undisclosed amount of money into a yellow, beige, and black bag he was carrying over his shoulder.

The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot, heading southbound on N. Western Avenue.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The FBI released the following descriptions of the suspect,

Black male with short hair, tear drop tattoos on both cheeks, 6' tall, slim build, 160-180 lbs, early 30's, wearing a gray long sleeve sweatshirt, khaki pants, a green camouflage military style jungle or boonie hat, and carrying a yellow, beige, and black bag and a black revolver.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number).

Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
