Oklahoma City police have arrested a carjacking suspect, also known as the “Binky Bandit,” because he was sucking on a pacifier while committing the crime.
According to police, at about 8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, officers responded to the report of a carjacking incident outside of a convenience store, located near N.W. 90th and Western.
The victim told police that the suspect walked up to him and asked him several questions. He said during the conversation, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded that he empty his pockets.
The suspect reportedly took the victim's wallet and drove away in the victim's car. The vehicle is described as a 2-door, red, 1997 Grand Prix.
On Friday, October 17, police confirmed that they were able to identify the suspect in the case and take him into custody. Toney Conway, 20, now sits in the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and robbery with a firearm.
