Heat Continues Sunday, Cold Front Brings Rain Chances Monday

Temperatures are going to take off into the mid and upper 80s again today. Full sunshine and a gusty south wind will push temperatures to well above normal. Only a few clouds move in tonight, and temperatures bottom out in the low and mid 60s.

Relief comes in tomorrow in the form of a cold front. Out ahead of the front temperatures will still manage to push into the low 80s. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible late in the afternoon and into the evening hours. Best chances will be south and east of the metro.

Skies gradually clear on Tuesday with seasonally cool temperatures returning. Highs will top out in the upper 60s Tuesday with comfortable temperatures sticking around through next weekend.
