Crews Contain Grass Fire In West Edmond

Firefighters have contained a grass fire in west Edmond, Friday afternoon.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the grass fire at Waterloo and MacArthur. Authorities said someone was burning trash when the fire got out of control and spread into some tall grass.

It burned dozens of acres before firefighters from several departments were able to get it under control.

The fire did not burn any structures.
