OHP Identifies Man Found Dead On Oklahoma City Highway

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating after a victim was found dead on the side of the highway.

A driver called police to report the find on westbound Interstate 44 near May Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Authorities identified the victim as 34-year-old Richard Wells of Oklahoma City. 

Troopers believe Wells was walking along the westbound, outside lane of I-44 near May when a car hit him and kept going. Wells died at the scene.

So far, a description of the car has not been released.
