The prospect for rain still looks good across the state this Sunday, if you've been wondering.
First, here's what's expected until Sunday.
Thursday and Friday will feature mostly cloudy skies and the temperature will be in the upper 50's and lower 60's with some drizzle.
Saturday will only be slightly different with slightly warmer temps (mid to upper 60's statewide) and stronger south winds up to 25 mph. The clouds and drizzle are still in the forecast.
Rain will move into western Oklahoma Sunday morning and move east across the state during the day. A few heavy storms will be possible into the afternoon hours as the storm system marches east.
Rainfall totals don't look overly impressive, but up to a half inch will be possible across the area. Totals will be higher in eastern Oklahoma.
Looking a little further ahead into next week, early indications are for colder temps and potentially more precipitation.
