Chance Of Snow; But Slow Warm Up Expected For Oklahoma

A foggy start around OKC and central Oklahoma Sunday morning, but thankfully, the bulk of the freezing precipitation stayed well to the east.

Highs Sunday afternoon will warm up into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s ahead of the next cold front, which arrives Sunday night. Winds will be breezy out of the south Sunday, eventually weakening by evening.

Winds will shift to the north after midnight and temperatures will stay cold Monday. However, with a strong north wind at 15 to 25 mph, it will feel much colder.

There's a slight chance of snow overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. A good portion of the state may see snow, but don't anticipate much in the way of amounts. 

An inch or two is possible, but that's about the maximum. It may be enough to cause a few travel problems, but it doesn't look like a winter storm at all.

A nice January warm-up is expected later in the week into next weekend, as highs reach the mid 50s.
