The sudden death of a Norman High School teacher sparked an outpouring of emotions from his students. Monday night there was a candlelight vigil to remember Greg Hildebrand.
The 43-year-old died last week after going home sick from school and going to the hospital.
Mr. Hildebrand had been a teacher at Norman High since 1997.
“He touched everyone's life and he made an impact. He wasn't just a teacher and he wasn't just a friend, really. He was family to all his students,” said former student, Kaetlyn Sanders.
Mr. Hildebrand leaves behind a wife and two kids.
