Police got a 911 call about shots being fired along 15th and Broadway and then near the OU hospital's Edmond campus near 2nd and Bryant. That soon led to a police pursuit, which ultimately ended in two arrests.
It all started as a fight between ex-lovers at Tramps, a bar near NW 39th and Pennsylvania. It then it spilled over into the streets of Edmond.
Right now two suspects are behind bars. They are Deaunte McBrayer and Darrius Johns.
Police say they got a call that McBrayer was shooting at a car near 15th and Broadway and that both the driver and passenger got hit, but continued to drive up towards the OU hospital near 2nd and Bryant to try and get away.

And it was near the hospital when police say Johns, who was a passenger in that fleeing car, pulled a pistol from his Hello Kitty purse, and returned fire.
“We're lucky that it happened at 1:45, 2 o'clock in the morning, because these are two insanely busy thoroughfares in Edmond,” said Jenny Monroe with the Edmond Police Department. “And we've got gunfire shooting back and forth.”
Dashcam video from one of the police cars shows the chase with McBrayer. The police pursuit goes through several streets in Edmond, down 2nd to Rankin, then 15th, then down the Broadway extension.
At one point the chase with the fleeing suspect reaches speeds of 100 miles per hour. And it finally ends in a crash near NW 122nd after police performed a tactical maneuver to bring the fleeing car to a stop.
Both McBrayer and Johns are being held in jail on multiple complaints -- the two people who were hit by bullets in the fleeing car were treated at the hospital and are expected to be OK.
