Norman Police Cancel Silver Alert For 82-Year-Old Woman

Norman police issued a Silver Alert for a woman who did not return home after shopping Saturday morning. Authorities said 83-year-old Lynn Yount left her home in Norman around 11 a.m. and as of 11:30 p.m., had not returned.

She was last seen driving a black 2007 four-door Honda Civic with Oklahoma license plates: 556 AXM. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a maroon sweater and a black coat.

Her family told police they were concerned for her safety due to impaired vision. They also said she is known to frequent area casinos.

Shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday, Norman police said Yount had been found.
