A man was arrested on multiple complaints after authorities said K9 Cairo alerted to drugs inside his vehicle during a traffic stop in Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office, on Tuesday, February 3, a deputy was called to assist with a Department of Homeland Security traffic stop at N.W. 22nd and Woodward. Allen Leon Badry, 46, had failed to stop at a stop sign at N.W. 15th and Land Avenue.
The agent said he noticed meth inside the car and called the Sheriff's office for K9 assistance. K9 Cairo immediately alerted that there were drugs inside the vehicle.
Authorities then searched the car and found nearly 60 grams of crystal meth. Badry also admitted that a liquid inside his vehicle was synthetic marijuana.
Badry was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of trafficking drugs, driving with a revoked license, and failure to stop at a stop sign. He is being held on $51,500 bond.
