Custer County jurors Tuesday night found a 20-year-old man guilty of one of the area's most notorious murders in years.

Tucker McGee stood accused of shooting Weatherford teen JaRay Wilson twice in the head in October of 2012. Fourteen months later, a McGee accomplice led investigators to Wilson's body, which they buried just outside Weatherford.

Another accomplice testified McGee confessed to the murder. McGee's attorney claimed his client was high, and didn't know what he was doing. JaRay Wilson's mother Jara trembled while she spoke after the verdict was read.

"To me he doesn't deserve to be out and he took her away from us and he deserves to pay for it. That's how I feel anyway," Jara Wilson, JaRay's mother, said

"What was the first thing you thought about when heard that verdict in that courtroom?" News 9's Steve Shaw asked.

"I thought I was gonna throw up actually," she answered.

The Custer County jury recommended Tucker McGee spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.
