Allegations of choking, biting and duct-taping a diaper to a child have surfaced against a man who Oklahoma City police arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Rodger Martin Marsh, 27, spent less than 24 hours in Oklahoma County Jail and posted a $2,500 bond.
This was not the first time Marsh has been accused of child abuse.
He's had four different protective orders filed against him by three different women claiming he was dangerous and aggressive and abusive to them and their children.
And the arrest warrant contained allegation of long-term abuse.
News 9 went looking for Marsh at his last known address, but no one would answer the door, despite cars being in the driveway.
“I'm happy they got him,” said Clowis Johnson. “That's somebody who needs some help, seriously!”
Johnson lives next door to Marsh's estranged wife, who is one of the three women who filed a protective order against him. Court papers stated Marsh broke her son's leg during a 2012 incident.
They also documented allegations of child abuse happening at a home in Midwest City and a home in Del City.
Two children, ages six and eight, told an investigator that was where Marsh grabbed the younger one by the throat, held him up against a closet door and chocked him. They also claimed Marsh duct-taped a diaper to him, put him in a playpen with a bottle, and forced everyone to make fun of him.
The arrest warrant went on to state Marsh was taken to the VA hospital and was admitted into the psych unit because of severe anxiety. It stated the VA medical records show Marsh's chief complaint was a problem controlling his anger and that he felt he might hurt people. And that he admitted to the duct taping incident and to biting one of the children.
Court papers stated DHS has been called into investigate the allegations.
Formal charges have not yet been filed.
