Wow, what a beautiful Wednesday across the area with nothing but sunshine and light winds.
Wednesday's high was the middle 70s and it was the warmest high since Feb. 14th, here in Oklahoma City. When, we the record high temperature was 80 degrees.
Wednesday evening and overnight, temperatures cool down under mostly clear skies and light winds into the 40s.
High level clouds will continue to move in from the southeast late Wednesday night and through the day on Thursday. These clouds will likely keep high temperatures just a tad cooler in the upper 60s.
Most rain chances will remain southeast of OKC and into the southeastern portion of the state.
On Friday, the weather system could try to move a little closer with clouds and small rain chances. Again, the best chance of seeing any rain will be in the eastern half of the state where highs will be in the 50s to near 70 out to the west.
By the weekend, sunshine dominates the forecast and highs return back into the 70s.
