Oklahoma City police are looking into a shooting in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart store early Tuesday.
Several shots were fired in the parking lot of the store along I-240 near Shields. We learned there was at least one person who was hit by the gunfire.
Police said just before 4 a.m. they received word of some kind of altercation in the parking lot with shots fired. Witnesses we spoke to said one man was chasing another in the parking lot of firing several shots.
"Second individual was running up to the store definitely shooting at the other and he started running along the store and that's where most of the gunshots were directed," Witness Dustin Higgins said.
Police then chased a car matching the description of a vehicle involved in the shooting along I-35 and Shields down towards the Moore area. Officers said a flat tire is what stopped the fleeing car. And inside they found two men, one of them with a gunshot wound the leg.
Police haven't said if these two are suspects or victims. They're still trying to figure out what led up to this early morning violence and who pulled the trigger.
