Ali Al-Yousuf, UCO student, who is charged with aiding and abetting prostitution and maintaining a house of prostitution, pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon.
The charges stem from an investigation that took place in January 2015. Undercover agents busted several alleged pimps, human traffickers, and prostitutes in a sting operation.

Undercover agents responded to a sex ad and were instructed to meet at an apartment, which belonged to Al-Yousuf. When an officer arrived, a prostitute offered to have sex with him. The prostitute and Al-Yousuf were both arrested.
After pleading guilty Thursday afternoon, Al-Yousuf received a two- year deferred sentence and 40 hours of community service.
Also, Al-Yousuf's girlfriend, Rachel Herrera, was arrested Wednesday night for engaging in prostitution.
