A storm system southwest of Oklahoma moving northeast will be responsible for showers and thunderstorms across parts of our state Tuesday evening and overnight. Storms will fire originally in western Oklahoma and move east. Some of these storms have the capability of become strong to severe with large hail and damaging wind being the main threats. The metro may not see anything until after 9 p.m. Tuesday. We have a Severe Thunderstorm Watch that goes until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Wednesday looks relatively quiet with partly cloudy skies, warm temperatures in the low 80's and a gusty south wind.
A cold front moves through Thursday bringing another chance severe thunderstorms and cooler temperatures.
