It was cold for several parts of the state Saturday morning as temperatures dropped to and below freezing in northern, western, and central Oklahoma too!
However, Saturday afternoon, temperatures will warm right back up to normal. Winds will also turn back around to the southeast, bringing moisture back into Oklahoma.
A storm system moving in from the southwest will bring an increase in clouds Saturday evening and night before rain moves into the state from north Texas.
Look for rain across most of southern and southeastern Oklahoma Sunday morning with the possibility of a few small, isolated storms. Severe weather isn't expected Sunday morning.
Be sure to take the umbrella to church! If you have some Easter egg hunts taking place, check in Sunday morning for a look at the radar to see if you need to postpone it into the afternoon. Showers will move into eastern Oklahoma by Sunday afternoon.
Looking ahead to next week, severe weather chances will return Wednesday and Thursday. The best chance looks like Wednesday right now, but as always with storm systems this far out, expect some changes.
