Showers and Severe Storms Likely Through The Weekend In OK

Showers and storms taking place in western Oklahoma will move east later Friday.

Showers and thunderstorms look likely Friday evening and overnight with a low threat of these storms becoming severe. If these storms do ramp up, damaging wind and quarter size hail will be possible.

If you planned to do anything outdoors this weekend, make some indoor backup plans just in case. Several waves of showers and thunderstorms will move through both Saturday and Sunday keeping the chance of rain in the forecast. Highs will fall to the low to mid 80s this weekend.
