U.S. Supreme Court Denies Stay Of Execution For Richard Glossip

The Supreme Court of the United States has denied a stay of execution for Oklahoma death row inmate Richard Glossip.

The Supreme Court of the United States has denied a stay of execution for Oklahoma death row inmate Richard Glossip.

Glossip was convicted of masterminding a plan to have his boss, Barry Van Treese, beaten to death in 1997. He was scheduled to be executed at 3 p.m. Wednesday, but the DOC delayed execution procedures until they hear from the Supreme Court. 

At about 3 p.m., the U.S. Supreme Court denied a stay of execution for Glossip, Glossip's attorney told News 9.
