One Injured After Industrial Accident At NE OKC Manufacturing Plant

Emergency crews are responding to the scene of an industrial accident at a manufacturing plant on the northeast side of the metro.

First responders were called out to M-D Building Products located in the 4000 block of N. Santa Fe. Ave, near I-235 and NE 26th St.

Authorities say a male employee somehow got their jeans entangled into a machine and suffered an "extremely significant" leg injury. According to a source, the man's leg was severed. 

The victim was transported "emergency status" to OU Medical Center. That person’s identity is not known at this time.
