Small Earthquake Reported In Major County

A small earthquake was recorded early Friday morning in Major County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The 3.0-magnitude earthquake happened about 6:32 a.m. Its epicenter was about 3 miles east-southeast of Cleo Springs, 28 miles west of Enid, 55 miles east of Woodward, and 80 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.

The quake was more than three miles deep.

No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
