Local volunteers from the Red Cross and Feed the Children are helping the devastated areas from Super Tuesday's tornadoes.

Feed the Children volunteers are collecting supplies for tornado victims and filling trucks as fast as possible.

"As soon as they told us what items were needed and where they needed to, we started loading trucks," said Tony Sellars with Feed the Children.

Five trucks stacked with supplies are making deliveries to tornado ravished states.

Volunteers from Oklahoma's Red Cross chapters are also offering support. Volunteers like Bunnie Morgensen are serving food and uplifting spirits. Morgensen is in Arkansas.

"I have such great benefits seeing a person smile and hug that I can be able to say this too shall pass and all of a sudden they look up with a tear and she says, you're right, we're alive," Morgensen said.

Feed the Children officials are asking Oklahomans to donate supplies. They need things like baby food, diapers, wipes, flashlights, batteries, blankets, bottled water and ready to eat food.

Donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Feed the Children headquarters, 333 N Meridian Ave. The group will collect donations next week as well.
