The Gracemont police chief was fired Monday after allegations surfaced that he allegedly made sexual advances to an underage girl, officials said.

The Gracemont police chief was fired Monday after allegations surfaced that he used technology to target an underage girl, officials said.

The allegations state that former Police Chief Garri Don McClure, text-messaged a 15-year-old girl and asked for sex in a graphical nature.

Police said McClure told the girl to keep it a secret.

If convicted, McClure could face anywhere from three to 20 years in prison.
