Driver could be charged with manslaughter

Oklahoma City Police said Terry Gathers could be charged with manslaughter for allegedly causing a deadly car crash Monday.

Officers said Gathers veered his pickup truck into oncoming traffic on Council Road between NW 50 and NW 63 streets at around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning. Gathers struck a minivan, killing 66-year-old Cuc Tran and critically injuring the driver of the van, said police.
