Parts of Interstate 35 and Interstate 40 were closed Thursday, stalling metro drivers' evening commutes.
Interstate 40
At 5:56 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reopened I-40 near US 81.
Authorities were working to clear an overturned mobile home that is blocking the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 at US 81 in Canadian County.
At 5:20 p.m., one lane was reopened, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Interstate 35
Southbound I-35 was closed at Highway 9 near Norman because of an overturned semi-truck, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
At 5:30 p.m., SkyNEWS 9 HD Pilot Mason Dunn reported that traffic was backed up about 5 miles. Traffic was being diverted onto the shoulder.
Both Interstate highways reopened Friday morning.
