GUTHRIE, Okla. -- Investigators found the truck belonging to a man who was found dead inside his Logan County home.

It was stolen and burned in a grassfire earlier in the week, before Warren Wesley Little's body was discovered on Saturday.

After finding the truck Monday, OSBI officials said Alric Olaf Smith was a person of interest in the investigation.

Officials said Smith could be traveling in a 1992 red Ford Ranger pickup truck, with an Oklahoma license tag UXJ-013. OSBI was also looking for Nancy McGuinness, Smith's girlfriend, who could be in danger. She is a white female, about 5'7", weighing 150 lbs.

A sheriff's deputy discovered Little, 55, just before 1 a.m. Saturday, said Jessica Brown, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

"It happened after family members couldn't get in touch with him for several days. They called the sheriff, and a deputy went in and found the body," Brown said. "At the time, we weren't sure what we were looking at.

"We were treating it as a suspicious death, then the ME (Medical Examiner) ruled it as a homicide."

Little's family said they're shocked by the killing.

"Nobody deserves to die like that I mean he was a generous person," said Eric Little, the victim's son. "He would give his shirt off his back, if you ask him for it.

"He lived such a hard life he could barely walk he couldn't defend himself they could've taken anything they wanted and he wouldn't be able to stop them they didn't have to kill him. In my book, that's like killing a child that's defenseless."

Brown said a cause of death has been determined and there is a person of interest in the case, but neither is being released yet because of the ongoing investigation.

"We do know that the suspect stole the victim's truck and horse trailer," Brown said.

The truck was a 1997 hunter green Ford F-150 regular cab pickup truck, she said. It has an aluminum tool box behind the cab.

The horse trailer was described as a tandem axle two-horse trailer, she said. It has a bumper pull and is gray in color.
