Man fatally shot on New Year's Eve

A 32-year-old man was fatally shot while being chased Monday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

A 32-year-old man was fatally shot Monday night near Britton Road and Western Avenue in northwest Oklahoma City. Police are still looking for the murder suspect.

Oklahoma City Police said the man was being chased on foot when another person opened fire, hitting the fleeing man in the chest. The man later died at a local hospital. Police are not releasing the man's name and said they have very little information on the suspect at this time.
