About 30 percent of the entire city of Wateska remains under water on Friday.

Flooding began on Tuesday when rainfall caused the Iroquois river to crest and spill into town.

Other cities in Illnois, like Pontiac--about 56 miles west of Wateska, are having similar problems after the Vermilion river overflowed Tuesday as well.
