Grass fires sparked across state

Firefighters battled several fires across Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters battled several blazes Tuesday across Oklahoma.

At 4:30 p.m., a large fire near Pauls Valley was burning.

At 3 p.m., about five acres were charred near SE 59 and Harrah Road in Oklahoma City.

Firefighters were called to another large grass fire near Lindsay at about 2:30 p.m.

At 2:10 p.m., a fire burned about 120 acres near Wellston. The fire was located 2 miles east of Pottawatomie County Road and Highway 66. Authorities confirmed the fire was started by someone burning debris from last month's ice storm.

At 1 p.m., a grass fire burned about 20 acres in the 1500 block of S Western Ave.
