NORMAN, Okla. -- A Blanchard woman is facing an assault charge after allegedly dragging her boss alongside her car earlier this week.

Jerilyn Marie Lewis, 45, was charged Tuesday with assault and battery in Cleveland County District Court.

Lewis was fighting with her boss at a Norman Waffle House on Sunday, according to a police affidavit.

Lewis was asked to leave. While she was in her car, her boss was talking to her through the passenger side door, Lewis then put the car in reverse and dragged her boss with the vehicle and then drove off, the affidavit reads.

Lewis told police she didn't stop the car because she was mad at her boss.
