Oklahoma City is taking a count of the homeless population. It's an annual process that is important to better serve future needs.
The Homeless Alliance teamed up with other local groups traveling across the city with the survey in hand.
"This just gives us good data that helps us to develop program to help homelessness and to allocate more resources to the problem," said Executive Director of Homeless Alliance," Dan Straughan.
The volunteers will be counting and conducting surveys across the city until 10 p.m. Thursday.
