Underwood's court date nears

A McClain County judge will have the final say whether an alleged confession made by a man accused of killing a 10-year-old Purcell girl will be admitted in court.

Kevin Underwood is accused of killing Jamie Rose Bolin in April of 2006 as part of a cannibalistic plot. Several days of arguments by both prosecutors and attorneys for Underwood ended yesterday.

The judge says she may not have a final decision until the trial begins on February 19 in Norman.
