McClain County District Court Judge Candace Blalock has ruled certain incriminating statements made by Kevin Underwood can be admitted into evidence at Underwood's trial, sources said.

Underwood has been charged with the murder of Jamie Rose Bolin, 10, as part of a canabalistic plot. His trial begins next week.

Judge Blalock ruled on Monday that a search of Underwood's apartment, which produced Bolin's body, was legal, sources said.

In hearings last month, defense attorneys argued that the statements were improperly obtained and the search was illegal.

Sources close to the case told NEWS 9 that Judge Blalock's ruling was filed under seal and has not yet been made public.
