Heart disease among women increases

It claims more women's lives than anything else, that's why the whole month is devoted to bringing awareness to it.

Heart disease has local women going red.

Our state is the worst, ranked 50th, when it comes to heart disease. One in three women dies from heart disease while one in 30 dies of cancer. Needless to say it's a big problem, but surprisingly preventable.
