A bill sponsored by former Speaker of the House Lance Cargill could mean construction projects in Oklahoma will be a little greener.

The "Conserving Oklahoma Act" would require all new state owned buildings or major renovations to meet a set of guidelines that promote effective energy and environmental standards.
