Man charged in 1998 rape case

A state prison inmate has been charged with raping a woman 10 years ago.

Marcus Leonard Jackson, 39, was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree burglary of an 86-year-old woman, read court papers. The Oklahoma County prosecutors said Jackson's DNA linked him to the crime.

Jackson is serving time in the Lexington Correctional center for robbery and drug charges.

The woman he allegedly raped has since died.
