The Gold Ball has already been given out, but some of the state's best high school basketball players are still on the hardwood.
Hundreds of basketball players from all over the Sooner State traveled to Oklahoma City to show off their skills in the first-ever full court press qualifier. The top 40 were named on Sunday as they tried to attract the attention of college scouts.
"This could be the opportunity for anything," said Tyrus McGee, Springtown High School.
Scout Etop Udo-Ema watched from the sidelines Sunday.
"Our goal here is to give as many of these kids some exposure and get them to some big time schools," Udo-Ema said.
After the scout ranks the top 40 basketball players, the report goes out to Division 1 College coaches across the country.
