I can't believe that we've been doing this for 4 weeks already. It seems like we've been doing it forever, ha-ha. Last week was so crazy but with my workouts I have stepped up the cardio a little. I tried running on the treadmill for like a minute at a time with walking in between. But it got to the point where I could have ran for longer periods of time but it hurt my shins too bad. So I've moved on to the elliptical and I LOVE IT!!!! At first I couldn't do it for very long but now I can do it for like 30 minutes or more. And I feel like I get such a great cardio workout! So hopefully this week's cardio workouts will lead to more weight loss. I've gotta get past this plateau weight thing.
One of the biggest differences I've noticed since the beginning is that all this exercise is really giving me tons of energy. Besides today (I'm still recouping from the holiday weekend) I have been able to get up a lot earlier than usual and stay awake a lot longer. Not that I still don't need my sleep, but before I could have quite literally slept all day, every day and now when I get up in the mornings, even though my habit of thoughts say to go back to bed, my body says no I couldn't possibly sleep any moreJ
