A hearing and committee vote on legislation to make English the official state language will be help Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

A bill nicknamed Son of HB 1804 tried to make English the official state language earlier this year, but did not meet the March 13 State House legislation deadline. State Rep. Randy Terrill (R-Moore), author of the bill, will try to add the legislation as an amendment to the state constitution during the committee's meeting.
