An Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper was pinned for about 30 minutes after wrecking his car, said authorities.
A little after midnight early Friday morning, a trooper was enroute to assist Oklahoma City Police with a stand-off near Interestate-40 when he passed a tractor-trailer truck. The trooper passed the truck on the inside lane of I-44 and lost control of his car, said officials.
The wheels on the trooper's car went off the left side of the roadway, his car spun and hit the guardrail, said authorities. Pinned for 30 minutes in his car, the trooper was pulled out at around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Officials said the trooper was in good condition. The trooper's name has not yet been released.
