Doctor charged with sexual battery

An Oklahoma City doctor is facing sexual battery charges after police say he inappropriately touched his female patients.

The Cleveland County district attorney charged Jeffrey Porras with three counts of sexual battery. Three women say last year during examinations at his south Oklahoma City clinic, Porras touched them in places and in ways they thought were unnecessary, officials said.

The first complaint against Porras came three years ago from Brandy Davis. She told police she went to see Porras for pain in her abdomen. Before she knew it, he removed her pants and underwear, she said.

"He then pulled off my shirt and my bra," she said.

Oklahoma City Police said they've heard several similar stories.

"There's been, like I said, approximately almost ten individuals coming forward saying, look, this happened to me also," Sgt. Paco Balderrama said.

Porras's name no longer appears on the sign outside his clinic.

Calls to his attorney were not returned.
