After a cold (freezing) start Monday morning, temperatures will slowly start to rebound during the afternoon hours under wall-to-wall sunshine; though still quite chilly by April standards.
By Tuesday and Wednesday, daytime highs will finally pick back up into the upper 60s and lower 70s, however something else that will be picking up is the wind. South winds on Tuesday will average 20-30 mph, with higher gusts likely. Traveling east and westbound, especially on Interstate 40, may prove a little difficult for high profile vehicles. The winds will gradually come down late Wednesday into Thursday.
The week looks dry with the exception of Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. That's when we stand the chance for more stormy weather.
