Serial rapist sentenced to 3 life terms

A serial rapist has been sentenced to three consecutive life prison terms for attacks in the Oklahoma City area in late 2005 and early 2006.

Dormario Dewayne Parker was sentenced Monday after pleading for mercy and begging his victims for forgiveness.

The 21-year-old Parker was charged with four counts of rape, nine counts of burglary, 21 counts of robbery with a firearm, 12 counts of attempted robbery and one count each of kidnapping and attempted rape.

Prosecutors say that between October 2005 and January 2006 he broke into homes and raped four women at gunpoint.

Parker confessed to the rapes and more than a dozen robberies after surrendering to the Metro Fugitive Task Force in January 2006.
