A man killed after attempting to cross Interstate 240 on Thursday afternoon has been identified as a 23-year-old Oklahoma City resident.
Jarvis Cheatham was struck by a car at around 1:08 p.m. on Thursday in the eastbound lanes of I-240 as he attempted to cross the highway, police said. He died at the scene, emergency officials said.
Cameron Mills, 19, of Moore was driving the car that struck Cheatham. He was not injured in the collision.
